Why is the temperature of the electric heating cable only a dozen degrees after it is powered on?

Electric heating cables are used for heat preservation and heat preservation of equipment. The desired temperature can be set according to user requirements. For example, if the user requires a temperature of 30°C, then the setting can be 30°C. Many models of heating cables are capable of maintaining 30°C, so the selection should be based on actual site needs.
After the heating cable is powered on, users may wonder why the temperature is only in the teens. This depends on the model used. For frost protection, a temperature of 5°C or above is sufficient, so a temperature in the teens is normal. However, if the temperature is only in the teens when the requirement is 50 or 60°C, then there is a problem and an inspection is necessary to determine the cause. First, determine if the model is incorrect. For example, if a low-temperature heating cable is selected, the temperature will not reach 50 or 60°C. In this case, the heating cable model should be replaced. Alternatively, the temperature controller may be set incorrectly; resetting the controller will resolve the issue. If none of these conditions are present, then the problem lies with the installation. Have the heating cable manufacturer's technicians inspect the installation to determine the cause.
For heating and insulation of equipment, the selection of electric heating tape is very important. Although there are many models that can meet the insulation requirements, it is necessary to choose an economical and suitable electric heating tape model. If the user does not understand it, he can ask someone who understands the technical selection of electric heating tapes, or he can ask the manufacturer to select the model directly.
