With A Maximum Range Of 405 Kilometers, BYD Seagull Will Be Launched On April 26th

Recently, BYD officially announced that the new pure electric small car, Haiou (pictured), will be officially launched on April 26th. This car is built on the BYD e-platform 3.0, with a range of 305 kilometers or 405 kilometers under CLTC conditions. At the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, the official announced a pre-sale price range of 78800 to 95800 yuan for Seagulls.
The Seagull adopts BYD's "Ocean Aesthetics" design concept in terms of appearance, with a closed front grille, polygonal headlights, and diagonal shaped daytime running lights. In terms of size, the car has a length, width, and height of 3780/1715/1540 millimeters, a wheelbase of 2500 millimeters, and is equipped with embedded door handles.
The seagull has decorated its tail lights, wings, door handles, C-pillars, and other positions with the element of "ice crystal frost". In terms of appearance, Seagulls will launch three colors: "Sprout Green", "Extreme Night Black", "Peach Pink", and "Warm Sun White", with "Sprout Green" being the main color for Seagulls.
The interior of the Seagull adopts a large number of curved lines, and the interior door handles and speakers also use "ice crystal frost" design elements that correspond to the exterior of the car. At the same time, the dual tone interior will also be adapted according to different exterior colors.
The car is equipped with a floating LCD instrument panel and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating central control screen, as well as a DiLink intelligent networking system. The car computer interface adopts a new UI design, and the lower part of the central control screen adopts the same easy going control system as Dolphin, with integrated gear shifting function. The front end of the auxiliary instrument panel is also equipped with a wireless charging panel for mobile phones.
In terms of power, the Seagull is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 55 kW and a peak torque of 135 N · m, and is equipped with lithium iron phosphate blade batteries with capacities of 30.08 kWh or 38.88 kWh. The CLTC operating range is 305 kilometers and 405 kilometers, respectively. In addition, the car will also support two types of DC fast charging power, 30 kW or 40 kW, depending on the version.
