Analysis of the application of fluoroplastic Teflon heat exchangers in the chemical industry.

Teflon heat exchangers have been widely used in chemical production and are mainly made of fluoroplastic polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE. Now the application of fluoroplastic heat exchangers in the chemical industry is introduced.

Plastic heat exchangers are fluoroplastic heat exchangers with strong corrosion resistance.

China has also invested a lot of money and manpower in the development of fluoroplastic heat exchangers, and successfully developed the legal process of polytetrafluoroethylene (F4) tube sheet expansion pressure heating welding and polytetrafluoroethylene (F46) metal core expansion, solving the key technology of connecting fluoroplastic tubes and tube sheets. Subsequently, various domestic fluoroplastic heat exchangers were put into actual production and application, and achieved good results.

At present, fluoroplastic heat exchangers have also developed from a single on-demand production to a series of stereotyped design production according to enterprise standards by manufacturers. There are many differences between traditional heat exchangers and fluoroplastic heat exchangers. For example, ordinary metal heat exchangers have the defects of heat transfer coefficient that is easy to corrode and the thickness of the dirt layer varies: non-metallic materials are fragile, large in size, and low in efficiency; heat exchangers made of rare metal materials are difficult to promote and apply. Fluoroplastic heat exchangers can make up for these defects to a large extent.
