Common problems in plastic injection mold production
Leave a message
1. The color of the product is uneven or discolored
Due to the poor distribution of pigments or fillers in plastic injection mold manufacturers, the color of plastic or pigment discoloration on the surface of plastic parts is uneven. The reasons for uneven color are different with the appearance of different phenomena. The uneven distribution of pigments is mainly near the feed inlet. If the color of the whole part is uneven, it is caused by poor plastic thermal stability. If the color of the welding part is uneven, it is related to the properties of pigments. Especially in small batch production, due to the formation of color matching between color powder and color masterbatch, the color is uneven, resulting in serious reimbursement. If it is mass production, there is no color difference problem if the plastic injection mold manufacturer uses the granulated material.
2. Unstable size
It is mainly due to the poor strength and precision of the plastic mold, the unstable operation of the injection machine and the unstable forming conditions, which make the size of the plastic part unstable. The main reason is that the plastic injection mold manufacturers take the parts manually, resulting in the inconsistent molding cycle of each mold, resulting in the unstable product size of the plastic injection mold manufacturers.
3. Bubbles
The residual gas in the plastic part is caused by excessive inflation or poor exhaust in the molten material, and there are small volumes or clusters of cavities (note that it should be distinguished from vacuum bubbles). The main reason is that during mass production, due to the material powder blocking the exhaust slot, the exhaust is not enough, and bubbles or charring will occur inside or locally in the products of plastic injection mold manufacturers.
4. Excessive flash
Due to poor mold closing, too large gap, too good plastic fluidity, and too much feeding, the plastic parts extrude extra thin pieces along the edge.
5. Poor fusion
Due to the low material temperature and the incompatibility between the resin and the adhesive when the fused materials are separated and combined, the fusion of the fused materials is poor and obvious fine seam lines are produced along the surface or inside of the plastic parts.
