How to choose a U-shaped electric heater?

How to choose a U-shaped electric heater?

1. Generally, customers use stainless steel 304. The working environment is generally divided into dry burning and liquid heating. If it is dry burning, such as for ovens and duct heaters, carbon steel or stainless steel 304 can be used. If it is to heat liquid, if it is water, use stainless steel electric heating tubes. This stainless steel is generally made of stainless steel 304. If it is oil, carbon steel or stainless steel 304 can be used. If it is a weak acid or alkaline liquid, stainless steel 316 can be used. If there is strong acid in the liquid, stainless steel 316, polytetrafluoroethylene or even titanium tube should be used.

2. Determine the power of the heating tube according to the working environment.

The power setting is mainly for dry burning electric heating tubes and liquid heating. For dry burning, generally one meter long tubes do 1KW, and for heating liquids, generally one meter long tubes do 2-3KW, and the maximum does not exceed 4KW.

3. Select the shape of the heating tube according to the customer's electric heating equipment.

The shapes of stainless steel heating tubes vary from simple straight rods to U-shaped and special shapes. Electric heating tubes of specific shapes are used in specific situations.

4. Determine the wall thickness of the heating tube according to the use of the customer's heating tube.

The wall thickness of the general heating tube is 0.8mm, but according to the working environment of the heating tube, such as high water pressure, it is necessary to use a thicker seamless stainless steel tube to make the electric heating tube.

5. Ask the manufacturer clearly when buying, the internal material of the heating tube

Why do many heating tubes look similar, but there is a big error in price? That is because of the internal materials inside. The two important materials inside are insulation powder and alloy wire. Insulation powder, the poor ones will use quartz sand, and the good ones will use insulating modified magnesium oxide powder. In addition, alloy wire, generally iron-chromium-aluminum, can use nickel-chromium alloy wire according to the requirements and grades of tube production. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It is recommended that customers do not covet cheapness to avoid buying inferior products.
