Electric heating tubes for heating liquids are widely used in various heating environments, the most common of which are water heating, oil heating, corrosive liquid heating, etc. The service life of electric heating tubes varies in different use environments, so how to design the power of electric heating tubes for heating liquids? The power design of electric heating tubes for heating liquids is closely related to the properties of the heated liquid, so the power design ratios for heating different liquids are different: 1. Heating water (the diameter of the heating tubes designed below is based on 12mm, and each meter refers to the length of the effective heating zone.) The power of electric heating tubes for heating water should be designed according to the impurity content of the water: (1) For purified water, the maximum power of the electric heating tube per meter can be 4KW. (2) For ordinary tap water, the power of the electric heating tube per meter can be 3KW. (3) For dirty water such as river water and sewage, which is prone to scale formation, the power of the heating tube per meter can be 1.5-2KW. 2. Corrosive liquids
The power of electric heating tubes for heating corrosive liquids should be designed according to the degree of corrosion:
(1) For weakly corrosive liquids, the power of electric heating tubes per meter can be 1.5-2KW.
(2) For moderately corrosive liquids, the power of electric heating tubes per meter can be 0.5-1KW.
(3) For highly corrosive liquids, such as highly concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, it is not recommended to use stainless steel electric heating tubes.
3. Heating oil
The power of electric heating tubes for heating oil should be designed according to the thickness and viscosity of the oil.
(1) For heating oils that are very thin and non-viscous, such as salad oil, the power of electric heating tubes per meter can be 2KW.
(2) For heating oils that are very thick and sticky, such as waste oil, which will stick to the surface of the electric heating tube, the power of electric heating tubes per meter can be up to 1KW. The lower the power, the longer the life of the heating tube.
So if you want to know what the power of the electric heating tube for heating liquids is designed based on, you can refer to the above points.
