How to extend the service life of stainless steel electric heating ring?

To extend the service life of the stainless steel electric heating coil, you can start from correct installation, reasonable use, regular maintenance and other aspects. The specific methods are as follows:
Correct installation
Choose a suitable location: When installing, choose a dry and well-ventilated location, avoid installing in a humid, corrosive gas or dusty environment to prevent rust and corrosion on the stainless steel surface and ensure that the insulation performance of the electric heating coil is good.
Ensure a firm installation: Install the electric heating coil tightly and evenly on the surface of the heated object to ensure full contact with the heated object to facilitate heat transfer and reduce local overheating. At the same time, use a suitable fixing device to prevent the heating coil from loosening or shifting during operation.
Pay attention to electrical connections: The wires connecting the electric heating coil must meet its rated current requirements, ensure that the wiring is firm, and avoid virtual connection. Virtual connection will increase contact resistance, cause local overheating, and damage the electric heating coil.
Reasonable use
Avoid over-temperature operation: Use the electric heating coil strictly according to its rated temperature and do not exceed its maximum allowable temperature. Over-temperature operation will accelerate the aging of the heating wire and insulating material and reduce the service life of the electric heating coil.
Reduce frequent start and stop: Try to reduce the number of times the electric heating coil is started and stopped to avoid frequent current shocks and thermal stress changes that damage the heating wire. If you need to stop using it for a long time, you can set the temperature to a lower insulation state instead of completely turning off the power.
Control the heating load: Do not keep the electric heating coil in full load for a long time, and leave a proper margin. Long-term full-load operation will put greater pressure on the heating element of the heating coil and accelerate its aging.
Regular maintenance
Clean the surface: Regularly clean the dust, oil and other debris on the surface of the electric heating coil, keep the surface clean, so as to facilitate heat dissipation. The accumulation of debris may affect the heat dissipation effect and cause local excessive temperature.
Check the connection parts: Regularly check the connection parts of the electric heating coil, including the power cord connector, the connection point between the heating coil and the heated object, etc. If there is any looseness, tighten it in time to prevent overheating caused by poor contact.
Detect insulation performance: Regularly use an insulation resistance tester to detect the insulation resistance of the electric heating coil. If the insulation resistance value is found to be lower than the specified value, find the cause in time and repair or replace the insulation material to prevent leakage accidents.
Check the heating wire: Observe the status of the heating wire regularly. If the heating wire is found to be deformed, discolored, or partially reddened, etc., analyze the cause and deal with it in time. For the heating wire that has been aged or damaged, it should be replaced in time.
