1. Choose the appropriate material according to the actual temperature: if the furnace temperature is lower than 1000℃, it is recommended to use nickel-chromium alloy lead rods; if the furnace temperature is higher than 1000°C, it is recommended to use iron-chromium alloy lead rods.

 

2. Suitable diameter and length:

 

1) According to the section of the electric furnace wire or the resistance band, select the appropriate diameter of the lead rod: Generally, the diameter of the lead rod is recommended to be greater than 3 times the diameter of the furnace wire. Common resistance rod diameters: φ8mm, φ10mm, φ12mm, φ14mm, φ16mm, φ18mm, φ20mm, etc. .

 

2) The lead rod is not used for heat generation, and it is mainly used for wiring. Therefore, the appropriate length should be selected according to actual needs to prevent the heat transfer from causing the lead part to overheat.

 

3. Welding between the electric furnace wire and the lead rod: It is generally recommended to drill and mill the lead rod on the lead rod. The electric heating wire passes through the hole and the groove is welded firmly to avoid ignition and burnout caused by the insecure welding part.

 

4. The connection between the lead rod and the furnace body: the connection between the lead rod and the furnace body must be sealed, firm and insulated. The lead rod is placed between the insulating filler, and the furnace body is insulated and sealed with insulators and sealing fillers.

Stainless steel material (SUS304, SUS316L and SUS310S and other materials): suitable for medium and high temperature, bright appearance, low resistivity, high temperature nickel-chromium alloy, good oxidation resistance and high temperature strength;

 

Iron-chromium-aluminum material (0Cr25AL5 and 0Cr21AL6Nb and other materials): cost-effective, high temperature resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance;

 

Nickel-chromium material (Cr20Ni35, Cr15Ni60, Cr20Ni80 and other materials): high oxidation resistance and high creep resistance;

 

Sweden imported materials (KANTHAL AF and KANTHAL D): oxidation resistance and high temperature resistance are higher than domestic ones;

 

Material imported from Japan (SUS304, SUS316L, SUS310S, etc.): It has better oxidation resistance and high temperature resistance than domestic stainless steel.
