Principles and characteristics of air heaters

An air heater is an electric heating device primarily used to heat gas flow. The heating element is a stainless steel electric heating tube. Multiple baffles (deflectors) are installed within the heater cavity to guide the gas flow and prolong its residence time, ensuring full and even heating of the gas and improving heat exchange efficiency. The stainless steel heating tube is a seamless steel tube filled with a heating wire and then filled with magnesium oxide powder, which has excellent thermal conductivity and insulation properties. When current passes through the high-temperature resistance wire, the heat generated diffuses through the crystallized magnesium oxide powder to the surface of the heating tube and then transfers it to the heated air, achieving the desired effect.
