Thermocouples for waste incinerators are commonly used temperature measuring elements in temperature measuring instruments. They directly measure temperature and convert temperature signals into thermoelectric potential signals, which are then converted into the temperature of the measured medium through electrical instruments (secondary instruments). The appearance of various thermocouples is often very different due to needs, but their basic structure is roughly the same. They are usually composed of main parts such as thermoelectrodes, insulating sleeve protection tubes and junction boxes, and are usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments and electronic regulators.
Thermocouples for waste incinerators are mainly used for temperature measurement in the furnace and flue of waste power generation incinerators. They have a unique double-layer sleeve structure. The outer layer is made of CYT301 high-temperature corrosion-resistant and erosion-resistant alloy material, and the long-term temperature resistance can reach 1200℃; the inner layer is made of corundum material. It can effectively withstand the corrosion, wear and high temperature caused by incineration flue gas. This product has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, wide temperature measurement range, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, stable and reliable performance, etc.
The furnace body is a cavity built on the upper part of the grate with refractory materials, thermal insulation materials, and heat-insulating materials. It is covered with steel plates to prevent smoke leakage and keep the surface temperature of the furnace body less than 50℃. There is an inspection door on the side of the furnace body, and the auxiliary ignition burner is also on the side. The furnace body is equipped with an operating table. In the furnace, the smoke flushes the material from bottom to top, dries the moisture in the material, and ignites the material in time. In addition, the front and rear arch refractory materials store heat and radiate the material, thereby ensuring the combustion temperature of the material. The residence time of the smoke is extended, so that the organic matter in the material and fly ash is burned*, and the destruction rate of harmful substances is improved. The furnace body is lined with high-temperature refractory materials, the middle is thermal insulation material, and the outer layer is thermal insulation material, which can reduce the heat loss of the furnace body and improve the incineration efficiency; the outer surface is protected by steel plates to prevent air leakage.
The following factors should be considered when selecting a thermocouple for a waste incinerator:
1. The measured temperature range;
2. The required response time;
3. The type of connection point;
4. The chemical corrosion resistance of the thermocouple or sheath material;
5. The wear or vibration resistance;
6. Installation and restriction requirements, etc.
The thermocouple for a waste incinerator uses special heat-resistant materials and wear-resistant alloy materials as the temperature measuring outer sleeve and wear-resistant head. Depending on the measured temperature, the selected wear-resistant protection tube material is also different. It uses flange connection or threaded connection. It can be used for long-term temperature measurement in the range of 0-1400 degrees. It is an ideal temperature sensor for metallurgy, chemical industry, cement plant, power plant, fluidized bed boiler industry in high temperature and wear-resistant environment. The wear-resistant protection tube is equipped with an armored core, which has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and erosion resistance. The protection tube can also play a good protective role for the internal armored core under high temperature conditions.
