Nowadays, the application of injection molded parts is quite extensive. On the market, the injection parts are colorful and different colors, so how to process the injection parts coloring? Below we will briefly introduce the three common coloring methods of injection molding processing, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
1. Chemical coloring is the most accurate coloring technology for injection molding parts. It can produce accurate, repeatable and appropriate colors, and is most suitable for small-scale production. Most commercial plastics are colored on injection moulding machines, while most engineering plastics are already colored on sale.
2. The Color Masterbatch coloring method for injection molded parts, granulating material and liquid material, can be blended into various colors. Particles are the most common, and masterbatches can be used by mixing plastics with masterbatches to actually transport the mixture or masterbatches into the injection molding machine. The advantages are: cheaper color, lower dust problems, lower raw material costs, more convenient storage.
3. Injection molding dry coloring method is the cheapest, its drawback is when using dust and dirty. To ensure uniform and accurate color in the production process, special size bags or cartons can be used to fill the correct amount of dry color powder. When using dry coloring powder, the surface of plastic particles must be covered with a uniform colorant, so that the color can be evenly distributed in the melt glue, mixing methods and time must be standardized to ensure uniform coloring.
After determining the coloring steps, we must persevere. In addition to avoid color powder in the storage period to absorb moisture, otherwise easy to burst, so that injection parts appear markings.
