What is the difference between liquid electric heating tubes and dry fired electric heating tubes?

What is the difference between liquid electric heating tubes and dry fired electric heating tubes?

1、 Different material choices

1. Air dry burning

The material of the finned electric heating tube with a working temperature of around 100-300 degrees should be stainless steel 304.

The electric heating tube of the oven with a working temperature of around 400-500 degrees can be made of stainless steel 321.

The furnace heating tube with a working temperature between 600-700 degrees Celsius should be made of stainless steel 310S material

2. Corrosive liquid

(1) Weak acid and weak alkali: A corrosion-resistant 316L heating rod can be selected.

(2) Strong corrosion and high acidity: Electric heating pipes coated with Teflon can be chosen.

3. Water

(1) Ordinary tap water: A flange heating pipe made of stainless steel 304 material is sufficient.

(2) The water quality is relatively hard and the scale is severe: at this time, a heating pipe made of stainless steel 304 and waterproof scale coating material can be selected.

(3) Heating drinking water: At this point, it is necessary to use food grade 316 material electric heating tubes

4. Under normal circumstances, the oil thermal oil heating tube can be made of stainless steel 304 material or iron material. The cost of electric heating pipes made of iron is lower than that of stainless steel 304, but they are more prone to rusting.

2、 Different power designs

(1) We usually design electric heating pipes for water and hot water based on a power of 1-3KW per meter (the power per meter refers to the amount of power that can be done in the heating area of one meter of the heating pipe). Beyond this ratio, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan of the heating tube.

(2) We usually design electric heating pipes for oil heating based on a power of 1-3KW per meter. Beyond this ratio, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan of the heating tube.

(3) We usually design electric heating pipes for dry burning air based on a power of 1-1.5KW per meter. Beyond this ratio, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan of the heating tube.
