Application fields of explosion-proof thermocouples

I have previously told everyone that explosion-proof thermocouples have shown unique advantages in many fields. So, in which areas have explosion-proof thermocouples been utilized?

Industrial explosion-proof thermocouple is a temperature sensor widely used in the chemical industry self-control system. Through the process temperature sensor, the temperature parameters of the holding tool can be converted into electrical signals, which are reported to the performance, recording, and conditioning instruments to detect, regulate, and control the system.

In chemical plants, various flammable and explosive chemical gases and vapors are often present at the production site. If ordinary thermocouples are used, it is very unsafe and can easily cause gas explosions. Therefore, it is necessary to use explosion-proof thermocouples as temperature sensors in these places.

The application of explosion-proof thermocouples is widely used in industries such as steelmaking, petrochemicals, machine manufacturing, glass and ceramics, plastics and rubber, brewing and pharmaceuticals, light industry and textiles, food, tobacco, water treatment, thermal power and nuclear industries.

Industrial use and thermistor as temperature measurement and control sensors and performance instruments to directly measure and control the temperature of gases, liquids, and vapors in the production process.

The structure, mechanism, and disassembly methods of explosion-proof thermocouples and thermal resistors are fundamentally similar. The important difference is that the explosion-proof product junction box (housing) is planned to be made of high-strength aluminum alloy die-casting and has sufficient external space. The wall thickness and machine strength, as well as the thermal stability of the rubber sealing ring, all meet the national explosion-proof standards.
