1、 Inspection and testing of heat tracing and accessories before construction

1. Is there any damage to the surface of the tropical strip.

2. Measure the insulation resistance of the tracing tape with a megohmmeter of 1000VDC to be greater than 20M Ω.

3. Is the model and design of the heating strip and all accessories consistent.

2、 Inspection and testing after the installation of the electric heating strip

1. Inspect the surface of the tropical zone for damage.

2. Inspect all accessories for complete installation.

3. Measure the insulation resistance with a megohmmeter of 1000VDC to be greater than 20M Ω.

3、 Insulation layer installation inspection and testing

1. Is the insulation material of the pipeline dry during construction.

2. During the construction of the insulation layer, it is necessary to avoid damaging the heating strip and test the insulation as above.

3. A waterproof protective layer should be added outside the insulation layer.

4. The insulation layer should be labeled with a label indicating the location of the tape box (with a tracing band inside). Note: Short copper wires at the tail cannot be connected. The main technical indicators are as follows: one is the standard for industrial electric heating pipes: JB/T GB2379-1993 Metal Tubular Electric Heating Elements; the other is the standard for civilian heating pipes: JB/T 4088-1999 Household Tubular Electric Heating Elements, with a service life of ≥ 4000h.
