Introduction to common faults and maintenance methods of induction cookers

When high-power commercial induction cookers encounter abnormal situations or fail to work during operation, the following common faults and troubleshooting methods are as follows:
General maintenance points for commercial induction cookers
1. Basic code:
E1: no pot alarm E2: pot over temperature protection E3: pot thermistor open circuit; E4: IGBT thermistor short circuit E5: IGBT thermistor open circuit E6: voltage too low E7: pot thermistor short circuit E8: IGBT thermistor short circuit E9: voltage too high
Note: After power on, the red light (power light) flashes after the display is fully lit once, and the blue light is not lit, and the display shows "-". At this time, the display starts up. If you twist the twist switch, any change in the display unit indicates that the twist switch is damaged or the relevant plug or the linked machine is loose. At this time, replace the switch potentiometer (encoder). If it cannot be discharged, the switch circuit may be abnormal.
E1: No pot, after turning on, E1 will be displayed (unit display 1 or "-" will be displayed in a few seconds), and the red light will flash simultaneously with "1".
A. Small stir frying stoves/flat head low soup stoves may not be in the pot, please check if they are normal after putting them in the pot.
B. For large pot stoves and other types that display 1 when the pot has been placed, check if the distance between the wire and the plate has changed, or if the placed pot contains magnetism. At this time, please use the company's dedicated pot.
C. The red light is on, indicating the current gear position, while the blue light flashes and goes out repeatedly, resulting in incorrect cooking utensils or distant wire coils.
E2: Pot (coil) overtemperature protection. After starting for a period of time, E2 appears. Check whether the coil fan is running. If it runs, it is highly likely that the coil thermistor has deteriorated. At this time, replace the coil without a temperature seat.
E3: The pot thermistor is open circuit, replace the coil temperature measurement seat.
E4: The IGBT thermistor is overheated, and the cooling fan on the core does not rotate or is too slow. Check the fan and plug, and if there are no problems, the relay may be damaged. At this time, the emergency repair method is to clamp the outer shell of the relay, which means keeping the contacts of the relay open. But it should be clear to the customer that the wind turbine will be powered on, but it will not affect the use.
E5: The IGBT thermistor is in open circuit. At this time, try to replace the movement or professional maintenance to remove the board and replace the aluminum plate temperature measurement seat.
E6: Low voltage, insufficient power supply voltage.
E7: The thermistor of the pot is short circuited, and the temperature measuring seat at the bottom of the pot is faulty. Replace it to solve the problem.
E8: The IGBT thermistor is short circuited. At this time, try to replace the movement or professional maintenance to remove the board and replace the aluminum plate temperature measurement seat.
E9: Voltage too high, power supply voltage too high.
2. There is no response when powered on, and the display does not light up. Twisting the switch handle can turn on and work. At this time, remove the front panel of the furnace and check if the display cable is broken or if the plug is loose.
3. There is no response when powered on, the display does not light up, and twisting the switch handle cannot start the machine. At this time, the power is cut off and the front panel of the furnace is removed. Check if the transformer's wiring is broken or if the plug is loose. If the fault persists, it is possible that the transformer is damaged. Note: This operation must be carried out in the event of a power outage.
4. The power on display is normal. Twist the switch handle, but there is no response. At this time, focus on checking the switch handle potentiometer or encoder to see whether the potentiometer and encoder twist rotate together when turning the handle, whether the wiring is not intact, and whether the plug is loose. If all these are intact, open the upper cover of the chassis, check whether the plug of the switch wiring is loose, and plug it again. If it cannot be discharged, Replace the switch. Note: If it is a potentiometer, it will beep and beep when the switch is not connected.
5. The machine is working normally, but after a period of operation, the front end switch of the machine automatically trips and can work again when turned on. This situation is generally due to insufficient overcurrent capacity of the front end switch, requiring the customer to replace the switch.
6. Cannot power on, it trips every time it is powered on. At this time, the machine ground wire is disconnected and suspended, and then turned on. If it can be turned on, it indicates that the machine has leakage. Check the insulation cotton of the wire coil, fan, or switch. At this time, the suspected components should be removed one by one. When one can close the switch, it indicates that which component is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired. Note: After repair, the ground wire must be replaced.
7. If the fan is not running, first check whether each fan is not running. If one of the fans is running, it indicates that the fan control circuit is good. At this time, check the respective connectors or sockets of the fan that is not running. If all fans do not turn, it is possible that the control circuit is damaged, and emergency repairs should be carried out using the method described in E4 above.
8. After powering on, the digital display is chaotic, lacking pens, and the buzzer is silent. Each time the power is turned on, the display is different, and the main chip, crystal oscillator, or two filter capacitors next to the crystal oscillator are damaged.
9. When powering on and tripping, it is first necessary to determine whether the tripping is caused by machine damage or by the poor quality of the customer's switch itself.
